The port building was instantly overturned and buried in the mud.

In the photo, only half of the joint inspection building's wall is visible above the mud. Next to it, a tour bus has overturned, its roof crushed, and mud is pouring in through the windows. At the scene, you can see people waving from the roof of the bus, while others are half-buried in the mud, motionless. The rescue team is using ropes to reach down, and the mud is still slowly pushing forward.

Surveillance footage captured the moment the mudslide engulfed the port in seconds.

The surveillance footage first showed a low rumble in the distance, followed by a brown wall of mud gushing out of the canyon mouth. People were still running uphill when the mud hit a building, and a row of vehicles were overturned and swept into the mud. After a few shakes, the footage showed only murky mud pushing forward, and the people who were standing a few seconds ago were no longer visible.
